Use of up to 5 gms/litre of ECO CF gives good stiffness to the fabric dress materials. ECO CF is also suitable for giving stiff finish to garments in tumble washing machine. ECO CF is compatible with almost all auxiliaries used in textile finishing. It care alsobe used in sizing. For very stiff finish as in the case of collar finish, use of 3 50-400 gpi and neutralized to pH 6.5 - 7 using dil.HCI, and padding with 85% mangle Expression, followed by stenter drying at 1203C followed by curing at 140-145=C is sufficient to give a permanent stiff finish which is fast to hot neutral soaping at boil for 30 minutes in tumble washer, repeated at least five times. Since ECO CF is free of formaldehyde, the fabric strength in terms of tear strength and tensile strength, remain unaffected and it is also free of Red-listed or Banned items. For shirting quality fabrics. 30-50gpl ECO CF gives improved tear and tensile strength with making the fabric extra stiff.
